NEED MUSIC?
Music is one of my other passions in life, playing piano and singing since I was 5 or 6 years old. I served as organist at Ivywild Community Church at 1626 S. Tejon Street here in Colorado Springs from1998 to 2009. I am currently substitute organist at Gateway Presybyterian Church just off 30th Street and at other churches on request. I served 3 years as President of the American Music Society here in Colorado Springs and have performed numerous times at their recitals.
Since moving to Colorado Springs in 1990, I have provided music for the afternoon teas at the Broadmoor Hotel during the Christmas holidays, as well as the Colorado Springs Symphony Christmas Tour of Homes, Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center functions, Pikes Peak Watercolor Society International Watermedia opening at the UCCS gallery, Alterra Assisted Living Center, and many weddings, memorial services, and private parties . I have also provided music for several years at my Sunday school class and Bible Study group at First Presbyterian Church and Bible Study group at Woodmen Valley Church.
I am available to provide organ, piano, and vocal music for weddings, funerals or memorial services, as well as background piano and vocals for private parties in homes and businesses and other events such as art openings, club functions, senior centers, Christmas parties, open house events, tour of homes, etc.
